Indian eves are better // 8 Nation Invitational Lawn Bowls Event

India eves are better placed compared to their men counterparts after session 2 of Day 2 at the 8 nation Lawn Bowls invitational event. The hosts stand 5th in Women’s singles, pairs and triples categories while India men are placed 7th in singles and 8th in pairs and triples. 4 out of 7 rounds are done in men’s and women’s singles while 3 rounds have been completed in the rest of the categories.


DAY 2: Session 2

The results from the 2nd session are as under --
WOMEN’S PAIR (Round 3)



Match 1: South Africa beat Australia 8-7, 8-5


Match 2: Scotland beat England 14-2, 10-5


Match 3: India beat New Zealand 16-1, 4-12, won in tie break


Match 4: Malaysia beat Northern Ireland 9-3, 18-3





MEN’S PAIR (Round 3)



Match 1: Australia beat Northern Island 13-3, 16-3


Match 2: New Zealand beat England 9-8, 8-7


Match 3: South Africa beat India 8-3, 14-5


Match 4: Scotland beat Malaysia 10-5, 15-4





WOMEN’S SINGLES (Round 4)



Match 1: India beat Australia 9-8, 7-4


Match 2: South Africa beat England 3-10, 8-2, won in tie break


Match 3: New Zealand beat Malaysia 10-4, 8-7


Match 4: Scotland beat Northern Ireland 15-7, 6-10, won in tie break





MEN’S SINGLES (Round 4)



Match 1:New Zealand beat Australia 8-5, 0-18, won in tie break


Match 2: Northern Ireland beat England 4-9, 13-3, won in tie break


Match 3: India beat South Africa 15-7, 5-7, won in tie break


Match 4: Malaysia beat Scotland 11-4, 6-6
